Tampa-based Sila Realty Trust has picked up a West Palm Beach medical office building.

The 25,150-square-foot two story building is fully leased by OB/GYN Specialists of the Palm Beaches, which specializes in high-risk pregnancies and births.

Sila paid $9.85 million.

According to a statement announcing the deal, the practice has seven location across West Palm, Boca Raton and Delray Beach. It is part of Unified Women’s Healthcare which has 925 centers and 36 fertility clinics in the U.S.

Sila did not disclose the property’s address, but according to the health care provider’s website, it’s West Palm Beach office is located at 770 Northpoint Parkway. Property records have not been updated to record the purchase.

Billionaire and Miami Dolphins owner Stephen Ross revealed plans for two office buildings in downtown West Palm Beach that would total nearly 1 million square feet, which would add to his major office holdings in the city.

New York-based Related Cos., led by Ross, said the East and West Towers would be located at 550 S. Rosemary Ave., within the mixed-use project the Square, formerly known as Rosemary Square. They would total nearly 1 million square feet, including 60,000 square feet of ground-level retail and restaurant space. There would also be 40,000 square feet of outdoor activity space.

The city of Riviera Beach executed a 99-year ground lease with the Related Group and BH Group for development of its marina property.

City officials selected the team of Miami-based Related Group, Aventura-based BH Group and West Palm Beach-based Tezral Partners to build a multifamily project at the city-owned marina in January. The property at 190 E. 13th St. is along the Intracoastal Waterway and already includes an event center, a tiki market and watersports facilities. That deal is now official with the lease approved.

Nora, West Palm Beach's newest planned dining and entertainment district, is starting to rise.

On May 31, an official groundbreaking will take place to transform a run-down part of the city, just north of the downtown, into a zone that evokes Miami's hip Wynwood warehouse district.

PALM BEACH GARDENS — A 600-student elementary charter school is coming to Avenir.

Palm Beach Gardens has cleared the way for Somerset Academy to build its newest campus in the ever-growing community on the western edge of the city.

The school would serve students in kindergarten through fifth grade and is planned for 7.26 acres on the south side of Avenir Drive, about 1,500 feet west of the Avenir Drive-Coconut Boulevard roundabout.

The city has annexed 301 acres of commercial land along western Northlake Boulevard neighboring near what will be its newest and most modern community.

The grab of an extra 300 acres of now mostly vacant land wouldn’t have made sense decades ago when Avenir wasn’t yet annexed into Palm Beach Gardens. Catalfumo Cos. obtained a $340-million construction loan for the Ritz-Carlton Residences, Palm Beach Gardens.

New York-based Madison Realty Capital provided the mortgage for the 106-unit project at 2200 PG Blvd., covering 11 acres along the Intracoastal Waterway. The seven-story condo project will have its own marina with 29 slips.
